Jacob Holmes
Cohost and Post Producer
Jacob Holmes is a self-taught filmmaker with a passion for documentaries and storytelling. He’s written and directed award-winning projects and loves helping Smalltown Filmmakers chase their dreams. With a business degree from West Virginia University, he runs Eagle Eye Productions in Nitro, WV, working with businesses on videos and social media. He’s also the president and founder of the Film Horizons Foundation, a nonprofit that brings film education and opportunities to the community.
Jerry Buckner
Co-host and Technical Producer
Jerry brings a wealth of diverse knowledge to The ACP. A true West Virginia storyteller committed to sharing authentic representations of our state. With a career background in sales, hospitality, general tomfoolery, marketing and videography he's equipped with a unique toolkit and always seems to have the right tool for the job.
Carson Vance
Technical Director
Carson Vance, an aspiring filmmaker from Charleston, helps highlight the movement taking place in the next generation of visual artists; bringing a unique perspective The ACP. He had the opportunity to collaborate with Jacob Holmes on “Two: Stories of Life, Love, & Infertility”, which deepened his understanding of crafting emotional, impactful stories. He's worked on several short films and commercial projects and is working behind the scenes with the Tri-state Film Club, capturing the energy and dedication of our local filmmaking community.
